Views from a Frying Pan?...

...Yes, and though it sank once previously, it reigns now as Manhattan's sole metal food preparation tool that floats on water. And, it serves food and drinks--complete with a view of the skyline!

The Frying Pan is a former 'lightship' (mobile lighthouse) and is on the New York State and Federal Register of Historic Places. Accessible on the Hudson River (12th Avenue) and 26th street, this is a great place to bring groups of friends or the girl you want to have a romantic night with  friend you've been getting coffee with and want to try something new.

More info here and here.
