On Wednesday evening, head up to 77th and 81st Streets between Central Park West and Columbus Avenues to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Balloons be inflated. Public viewing runs from 3pm to 8pm, but the balloons really start to take shape around 5pm.
Also, 34th St. is closed between 6th and 7th from 8pm-10pm tonight and Tuesday eveing for parade rehearsals. Keep your eyes open and you might get to watch a few marching bands or, if you're lucky, a celebrity as they prepare for the parade on Thursday!
