Looking for a new museum to visit this week? Check out the Frick Collection. It's located at 1 East 70 St. (b/w Fifth and Madison) and houses a number of famous European paintings and sculptures and was originally built in 1913 as one of Fifth Avenue's largest and most elaborate mansions.
Hours: 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Tuesday- Saturday, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Sunday, closed Mondays and Holidays.
Admission: On Sundays, pay as you wish from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
All other times, the cost is $18 for adults, $12 for senior citizens (62 and over), and $5 for students with valid identification. Children under ten are not admitted to the Collection. There is no additional charge for special exhibitions. Free for members.
