If you don't have class on Thursday morning, head to the NY Philharmonic to hear an open rehearsal of Lorin Maazel conducting Mozart's Symphony No.38 and Concerto for Flute and Harp and Debussy's Jeux and Iberia. The rehearsal is in Avery Fisher Hall and starts at 9:45 and will end between 12:45 and 1:00pm. Tickets are only $18 (as opposed to $33-$83 for the performance!) You can purchase tickets online or over the phone.
If you can't make it this week, the Philharmonic has posted t their open rehearsal schedule through June 20.
