Just because you're not on Fall Retreat this weekend doesn't mean you can't have fun! Here's what's going on in the city this weekend!
- The Brooklyn Book Festival is going on from now through Sunday, September 18. Stop by Brooklyn Borough Hall and Plaza for New York City's largest free literature event!
2. The last "Brews, Blues, and BBQ" of the season is happening at the Beach at Governor's Island this Saturday from 12:00-6:00 pm!
3. If you're looking to keep you weekend a little more low-key, why not spend Sunday at Bryant Park's Fall Festival? Start with The Cookout at the Southwest Porch for a prix fixe meal including a sandwich and side order, plus a pint of Southwest Brew or bottomless sweet tea. Then, at 6:00 pm, enjoy a free performance by Ballet Hispanico of three of their repertory favourites: Tres Cantos, Mad'moiselle, and Club Havana.
